Under the patronage of the Member of Parliament for Moruga/Tableland, the Honourable Clifton De Coteau and Chariman of the Moruga/Tableland Carnival Improvement Committee, the streets of Moruga were alive last Saturday as the constituency celebrated its Launch of Carnival 2012.

The festivities opened with a street parade from La Savanne Junction to the Bois Jean Jean Farners’ Market with traditional carnival characters, live steel pan, and the joy of the residents and visitors alike.
